SECAUCUS, NJ — What's happening this weekend in our great little town?
Friday, March 9: Secaucus Middle School Tricky Tray. 6-10 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. Tickets are $10. Includes coffee, tea and desserts. Food available for purchase.
Friday, March 9: 4-8 p.m. Secaucus Public Library's first-ever Fix It Fest, in the second floor conference room. Participants of all ages are invited to bring their broken or damaged belongings to Fix It Fest, where library staff, knowledgeable volunteers and fellow DIY-ers can help them determine whether the item should be repaired, repurposed or, if absolutely necessary, recycled. At Fix-It Fest, we will provide the tools, supplies and information you need to fix, mend or repurpose a wide range of items. Saturday, March 10 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.: We will be having our first Children’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration. We will have hands-on craft projects (make an Irish Derby hat with a hidden surprise, a leprechaun mask and a rainbow necklace), face painting, balloon twisting and an Irish dance lesson (everyone is welcome to participate). At the Rec Center.
Sunday, March 11: Annual St. Patrick's Day dinner at St. Matthew's Church: 2-5 p.m., serving corned beef and cabbage, Irish soda bread, potatoes, beer, wine and soda, plus live music. Fun for all ages. Tickets are $25 for adults; $10 for kids under 12.

Sunday, March 11: Open gym/pool at the Rec Center from 5 to 8 p.m. Secaucus residents only. Parents must accompany kids.
