Secaucus - Harmon Cove Community Girl Launches GoFundMe for Kerala, India - Landslide Victims
A young Harmon Cove girl is making a big difference for people far away. The 12-year-old girl, Shreya, launched a GoFundMe with the intention of helping those affected by the recent landslide disaster in Wayanad, Kerala, India.
The tragedy has got close to home for Shreya, making things personal. Moved by the plight of these people, she launched her campaign to be able to assist with donations for the victims' benefit. The funds will also be used to cover some, if not most, of the basic supplies like food, shelter, and medication for those who now have nothing left.

"Every donation, however big or small, can make a difference," said Shreya.
Torrential rainfall triggered the landslide at Wayanad on July 30th, 2024, catching two villages off guard. This tragedy has caused unbearable destruction and left many families out in the streets.
