Guttenberg Woman Failed To Declare Home Health Aide Income: Police
Police say she failed to report income she earned as a home health aide, resulting in a Social Security overpayment of more than $20K:
GUTTENBERG, NJ — On Wednesday of this week, a Guttenberg woman was arrested on a charge that she failed to report income she earned as a home health aide.
The woman is Anmerlene Demetroudis, 59, and she was charged with third-degree theft by deception.
The investigation found Demetroudis failed to report income she earned as a home health aide, resulting in an overpayment of more than $20,000 in Social Security benefits, Medicaid, NJ Rental Assistance and NJ Family Care, between June 2020 and November 2022.

She was arrested at her home in Guttenberg Wednesday, and released on a summons pending her first court appearance, which is tentatively scheduled for July 25.
