Help Out: Weekly Secaucus Clean-Up Thursday

SECAUCUS, NJ — Every week, Lynn Kramer from the Secaucus environmental department organizes a clean-up of various spots in town. And they are always looking for volunteers to help beautify our town and keep it clean.

This Thursday, Aug. 1. she will be leading a clean-up along Paterson Plank Road near the Best Buy.

The best place to park is in the lot used by Best Buy and Ashley Furniture, but not in front of the Best Buy store. Park along the edge, near the traffic light, that runs parallel to Paterson Plank Road.

The will be cleaning up across the street on Paterson Plank Road.

Anyone is welcome to come help. You do not need to RSVP in advance. They will be cleaning there from 8:30 - 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1. Simply show up if you want to help. Wear a hat; there is no shade in this area, she warns. (If you are truly lost on parking, just look for a white Prius with kayak racks on top.)
