Jersey City Man Charged With Breaking Into Secaucus Blimpie
Secaucus police arrested Christopher Maglione, 48, of Jersey City, and charged him with breaking into the Secaucus Blimpie on Dec. 28.

SECAUCUS, NJ — Secaucus police said Thursday they arrested Christopher Maglione, 48, of Jersey City, and charged him with breaking into the Secaucus Blimpie in the center of town on Dec. 28.
Secaucus police said they arrested him without incident near his home in Jersey City this past Tuesday, Jan. 8 and were able to make the arrest after they released surveillance footage of the break-in to the media.
The burglary occurred between 3:30 a.m. and 4:12 a.m. on Dec. 28, at the Blimpie located at 1277 Paterson Plank Road. Police say a single male actor forced entry into the business and committed a theft while inside. In the video below, you can see the suspect walking through the business, who appears to be looking for something near the cash register.

He fled in a 2003-2007 dark-colored, two-door Honda Accord heading east on Paterson Plank Road.

Secaucus police said Detectives Roman Popowski and Nick Lawson of the Bayonne Police Department and the Jersey City Police Department helped make the arrest.
