Man Barricaded Himself Inside Secaucus Apartment, SWAT On Scene

SECAUCUS, NJ — A man is currently barricaded inside an apartment at an apartment complex on Paterson Plank Road in Secaucus.

This is happening now at the Plaza Gardens apartments, across from the library and the Dunkin' Donuts.

Secaucus Police and SWAT officers are currently trying to get the man to leave the apartment, said Mayor Mike Gonnelli. He is refusing to come out.

That is the reason for the heavy police and SWAT presence at that area, at Paterson Plank Road and First Street. SWAT officers can be seen outside the man's apartment.

Secaucus Police asked the public in a Facebook post to avoid the area.
