Man Stole Cash, Gun From Goodfella's Secaucus Deli, Cops Say
A man broke into the Goodfella's Deli on County Ave. Sept. 16, stealing cash and a loaded gun from the business, say Secaucus police.
SECAUCUS, NJ — A Jersey City man, pictured, has been arrested and charged with breaking into the Goodfella's Deli on County Avenue, stealing cash and a loaded gun from the business, say Secaucus police.
The burglary occurred Monday, September 16 at Goodfella's deli at 254 County Avenue, say police. More than $10,000 and a loaded .380 caliber handgun were discovered to have been taken.
Secaucus police immediately canvassed the surrounding neighborhood. However, George Waddleton, 49, of Jersey City was arrested more than a week later, on Wednesday of this week at his home in Jersey City. He was arrested without incident and charged with burglary and theft.

Additionally, a search of his car revealed a quantity of suspected synthetic drugs, hypodermic needles and burglary tools, said police. The stolen handgun has not yet been recovered.
His is charged with burglary, three counts of theft, unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of burglar's tools, possession of synthetic cannabinoid and possession of hpodermic needles, as well as certain persons not to have weapons.
