Meet The Winners Of Secaucus Chess Tournament

SECAUCUS, NJ — Last Wednesday, January 18, 27 chess players gathered in the Secaucus Middle School cafeteria to compete in a chess tournament from 3-6 p.m.

The event was livestreamed and a table was set up for the final matches.

In the end, Liam Shah and Dev Chandarana emerged victorious and were given trophies. They are shown with Principal Candela and assistant principal Cocucci.

Many sponsors helped to rise $900 for new chess sets for Secaucus middle and high school students:
