“The work of my Anti-Crime Unit is unparalleled,” Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said. “The Anti-Crime Unit will continue to proactively investigate vice crimes at our local hotels and arrest those individuals who think they will use our hotels as a safe haven to commit their nefarious acts."
In January, Hollywood movie "Maybe I Do" filmed at Secaucus' Red Roof Inn; the motel was used as the place where Richard Gere and Susan Sarandon, both married to other people in the film, met for a seedy affair. In the movie, Gere lives in Montclair.
The movie stars Gere, Sarandon (an Edison native), Diane Keaton, William H. Macy and Emma Roberts.
