Secaucus Drug Raid At Home Off County Avenue

SECAUCUS, NJ — Secaucus police raided a home off County Avenue Tuesday morning, Nov. 21, and said they found a stash of marijuana and cocaine there. The home is located at 284 Lincoln Avenue, which is right off County Avenue and right across from the County Avenue soccer park (Shetik Field). Three local Secaucus residents were arrested.
Secaucus police had been conducting drug surveillance on the property for the past three months, after getting complaints from the community. The second-floor and basement apartments were raided Tuesday by local police, Hudson County Sheriff’s officers and canine dogs. That's the property pictured above.
Alexander D. Garcia, 30, Luis A. Garcia-Bacalao, 26, and Ashley D. Rivera 25, all of Secaucus were arrested. Additionally, Ana Molina, 32, of Huntington Station, NY was arrested. During a search of the home, over four pounds of suspected marijuana, marijuana vapor oils and edible marijuana candy were seized. Approximately one ounce of suspected cocaine was also seized that was packaged for street sale, police said.

Additionally, over $1,700 in suspected drug proceeds was seized. A child was also found in the home.
“We will continue to investigate and inhibit any drug distribution operation within the town,” said Secaucus Police Chief Kevin Flaherty. "The diligent follow-up to complaints received are a priority for the Secaucus police department."

Alexander D. Garcia, Luis A. Garcia-Bacalao and Ashley D. Rivera were all charged with Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine, two counts of Possession with the Intent to Distribute within 500 feet of Shetik Field, Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana, Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine, Possession with the Intent to Distribute Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Cocaine. Alexander D. Garcia was also charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Ashley D. Rivera was additionally charged with Resisting Arrest.
