Secaucus Earth Day Clean-Up 4/20, River Walk 4/22, Holi 4/27

SECAUCUS, NJ — Here are three fun Secaucus community events you can sign up for and attend during the remainder of the month of April:

Earth Day clean-up April 20 at Mill Creek Marsh - volunteers needed!

The town of Secaucus will hold its third annual Earth Day cleanup at Mill Creek Marsh on Saturday, April 20 this year. Please join them from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help pick up trash in the Meadowlands! Meet at Mill Creek Marsh. We will provide pickup sticks, bags, gloves, water & snacks! Wear clothes ready to get dirty and sneakers or boots. No sandals or flip flops! RAIN OR SHINE! Please bring a reusable water bottle. Please RSVP to Lynn Kramer at lkramer@secaucus.net Meet at Mill Creek Marsh entrance next to Bob's Discount Furniture. From there, they will go to two different clean-up locations.

Earth Day Tai Chi Walk, Monday, April 22

Secaucus Body and Brain Yoga Tai Chi invites you to celebrate Earth Day from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm on Monday April 22 at Laurel Hill Park in Secaucus. Adele Harris Manager of Secaucus Body and Brain will lead a Tai Chi mindful walk along the Hackensack River to focus on receiving new energy from the earth and being grateful for its blessings.
