You don't need to sign up in advance to compete in the fishing derby; simply show up Saturday morning.

The festival will again be held at the Xchange complex and it will go from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. This year, a fun new addition to the festival will be demonstrations and test drives of electric cars. Come try one out and see what all the hype is about.

There will be a petting zoo, rock climbing, kids can meet raptors and other birds of prey, a merry go round, food trucks, pony rides and eco-cruises provided by the Hackensack Riverkeeper. Take a short eco-cruise that leaves right from Xchange and experience the Hackensack from the water.
