Reminder: Secaucus Green Festival This Saturday At XChange
Come hear from NJ Batman, the Tenafly Nature Center, East Coast Falconry and Hackensack Riverkeeper, which will give free boat tours.

SECAUCUS, NJ — Just a reminder, the very popular Secaucus Green Festival, now in its 10th year, will be held this Saturday, Sept. 18 at XChange.
It will go from 11-4 p.m. at Xchange (5000 Riverside Station Boulevard).
The Secaucus Green Festival, usually held around Earth Day in years past, is a celebration of our planet, with environmentally-conscious vendors, exhibits and fun activities for all! Admission to the event is free.

Food and eco-friendly products will be available for purchase.
Come hear presentations from: NJ Batman, the Tenafly Nature Center, East Coast Falconry and the Hackensack Riverkeeper, which will also be taking people out on free boat tours of the Hackensack River

There will be: a solar merry-go-round, raptors, food trucks, rock climbing, music, arts & crafts, Reusable Bag Giveaways, Eco Cruises from Hackensack Riverkeeper, a petting zoo, raw organic honey for sale, face painting, puppets, mini golf, bubbles, sand art and button making.

The annual Secaucus Green Festival is typically held the 1st Saturday in May at the Secaucus Xchange. Due to COVID-19 restrictions this past spring, the 2021 Green Festival was postponed to September 18.
Donation Drives:
Do you have household junk you want to get rid of? A GreenDrop truck will collect it at the festival:
From 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Sept. 18, a GreenDrop truck will be parked between 8000 & 9000 Riverside Station Blvd. to accept bagged or boxed donations of gently used clothing, toys, sports equipment, and household items. For a full list of acceptable items, please visit GoGreenDrop.com.
From 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., please bring non-perishable food items to the Rotary Club of Secaucus’s table. All the donations will help the Secaucus Food Pantry feed local families in need.
