Secaucus High Principal, Vice Principal Suspended
Principal Dr. Robert Berckes and Assistant Principal Jeffrey Case were suspended with pay.

SECAUCUS, NJ — The principal and vice principal of Seacaucus High School have been suspended pending an investigation, NJ.com reported.
Principal Dr. Robert Berckes and Assistant Principal Jeffrey Case were suspended with pay. There was a school board hearing Thursday night on the matter, but it was not open to the public.
When Patch asked Secaucus Superintendent Jennifer Montesano on Wednesday to confirm they were suspended, she said she could not comment on the matter. She would not explain anything about the incident, or why they were suspended.

NJ.com also reported that the police officer assigned to Secaucus High School has been reassigned.
Dr. Berckes also owns a chiropractic business on Flanagan Way.
