Secaucus Hospital Offers Free Breast Cancer Screenings
The hospital's annual Breast Cancer Awareness Brunch will have breast cancer screenings, women's health education, raffles and giveaways.

SECAUCUS, NJ — As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Hudson Regional Hospital in Secaucus will hold their second annual Breast Cancer Awareness Brunch on Sunday, Oct. 27.
The complimentary brunch is open to the public and will go from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be free breast cancer screenings, women’s health education lectures, raffles and giveaways. The exams are with a doctor to check for lumps. Should anyone require further testing (i.e., a mammogram), the doctor will provide a script.
This breast cancer awareness event is part of Hudson Regional Hospitals extensive community outreach program designed to provide access to healthcare to all Hudson, Bergen, and Essex County residents.

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death among women but if detected early, the five-year survival rate is 99 percent.

The hospital is located at 55 Meadowlands Parkway in Secaucus. Hudson Regional Hospital took over the former Meadowlands Hospital in January 2018.
