Secaucus National Night Out Is Aug. 2 In Buchmuller Park

SECAUCUS, NJ — All parents and children in Secaucus should try to attend National Night Out, held in the evening of Tuesday, Aug. 2 in Buchmuller Park.

National Night Out is meant to introduce children, teens and young people and their families to the police officers of our town.

This is always a great night and meant to create a real sense of unity and community-building in Secaucus. Please come and say "hello" to the men and women of our town's police force. 5-8 p.m. in Buchmuller Park. At Secaucus National Night Out, there will be:

  • A homerun derby where kids can hit and play softball with Secaucus police officers
  • A 3-point basketball contest
  • Wiffle ball games
  • Flag football
  • Corn hole tournament
  • Hockey slap shot contest
  • Police/fire/EMS demonstrations
  • Bicycle raffle
  • Food will be provided
