Extra Mile Basketball NJ

Extra Mile Basketball NJ is an elite youth basketball training program based in Lyndhurst, NJ, serving athletes ages 7–18 across Bergen, Essex, and Hudson County. We specialize in small-group and private performance training led by Coach James, an internationally experienced basketball coach with 17 years of experience and over 2,000 athletes trained across three continents. Our program develops the complete player — ball handling, shooting, footwork, defense, basketball IQ, leadership, and mental toughness. We train athletes across three age groups: Grades 2–5 (Ages 7–10), Grades 6–8 (Ages 11–13), and Grades 9–12 (Ages 14–18). We offer flexible weekly training packages designed to accommodate different schedules and budgets — from a single drop-in session to a full monthly commitment. All skill levels are welcome, but athletes must come ready to work. Extra Mile Basketball is not for everyone. Our Summer Camp 2026 is now open for registration. Packages start at $85 for 1 day up to $375 for the full 5-day experience, with 2 hours of high-intensity performance training per session. SECAUCUS, NJ — As a special treat to deal with today's heat wave, the Secaucus town pool will be open from noon to 6 p.m.This is only for today (Tuesday, May 31) and it's because of the heat (supposed to hit 97 degrees) and because Secaucus public schools are closed Tuesday, said Mayor Mike Gonnelli.The town pool is free to all Secaucus residents; just show ID and proof of residency at the entrance.The amazing town pool complex — with five pools — will be open for weekends until June 20, at which point it will be open every day daily from June 20 - Sept. 5.
