Secaucus Police Blotter, April 27 - May 3
Secaucus Police made several prostitution arrests in town on May 1. Plus, more arrests:
SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:
On April 27 at 4:08 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 41-year-old woman of Carteret, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Woodbridge, NJ in the amount of $1,500. She was able to post bail, was issued motor vehicle summonses and was released.
On April 28 at 4:14 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 27-year-old man of West New York, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of West New York, NJ in the amount of $500 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen in the amount of $500. He was able to post bail, was issued motor vehicle summons and was released.

On April 28 at 11:47 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 44-year-old man of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Fairlawn, NJ in the amount of $650. He was able to post bail and was released.
On April 29 at 5:10 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 48-year-old man, Salem Mohhammad of North Bergen, NJ for Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle [2C:20-10.2A]. Mohhammad was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. He was issued a complaint warrant and taken to the Hudson County Jail.

On April 29 at 7:27 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26-year-old man, Brando Valero-Gonzalez of Paterson, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A], for possessing a license plate that was reported stolen. He was issued a complaint summons along with two motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On May 1 at 9:14 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot for a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 31-year-old male, Jorge Suarez-Llumiquinga of Scarsdale, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Suarez-Llumiquinga was issued his complaint summons and released.
On May 1 at 1:15 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 37-year-old man, Luis Berroa-Martinez of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $3,000 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail and was released.
On May 1, in an effort to reduce vice-related crimes within the town of Secaucus, Secaucus Police arrested the following individuals: At 7:02 p.m., the police arrested a 34-year-old woman, Aura Cuello-Diaz of Baranquilla, Columbia for Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)] and Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)]. Cuello-Diaz was issued her complaint summons and released from police custody. At 8:50 p.m., police arrested a 42-year-old woman, Diana Garcia-Reyes of Linden, NJ for Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)] and Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)]. Police also arrested a 41-year-old woman, Ingrid Orozco-Remolina of Linden, NJ for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)]. Both Garcia-Reyes and Orozco-Remolina were issued their complaint summonses and released from police custody. At 11:07 p.m., police arrested a 33-year-old woman, Rosa Veloz Castillo of Valencia, Spain for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)]. Veloz Castillo was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.
Police will not reveal the locations where the women were arrested. "Citing ongoing undercover operations, we will not release the locations," Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said Monday, May 4.
On May 3 at 3:23 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 36-year-old man of Roselle, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail. He was taken to the Hudson County Jail.
