Secaucus Police Blotter, Aug. 28 - Sept. 3
A Clifton man is accused of assaulting a nurse at Hudson Regional Hospital on Aug. 31:

SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:
On Aug. 28 at 1:01 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Rodeway Inn on Rt. 3 on a report of a verbal dispute between a guest and the hotel staff. During the investigation, the police arrested a 35-year-old male, Brendan Macfadgen of Secaucus, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Gamma-Hydroxybutyrate [2C:35-10.2A] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Macfadgen was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On Aug. 28 at 6:13 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Kohl’s on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 47-year-old male, Giuseppe Marsiglia of Jersey City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Marsiglia was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $6,500 with a 10% option. Newark did release Mr. Marsiglia on his own recognizance pending a future court date in relation to the outstanding warrant. Mr. Marsiglia was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Aug. 28 at 7:29 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Meadowlands Ford on County Avenue on a report of an attempted theft of a motor vehicle. He entered a Ford F35 pick-up truck and attempted to take it; the truck was unoccupied at the time. Employees observed him and he fled, but no weapons were shown. Secaucus Police observed an individual fitting the description provided of the involved actor, and a foot pursued ensued after the individual began running from police. The police were able to apprehend and take into custody an 18-year-old male, Xaziver Valle of Tobyhanna, PA for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)] and Criminal Attempt to Commit Theft [2C:5-1A(1)]. Mr. Valle was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On Aug. 29 at 11:39 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 21-year-old female, Destiny Sidberry of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Carteret, NJ with no bail, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Carteret, NJ in the amount of $500 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Kearny, NJ in the amount of $600. Ms. Sidberry was issued 1 motor vehicle summons. Officers from the Carteret Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Ms. Sidberry for transport back to their agency.

On Aug. 30 at 12:16 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31-year-old male, Lester Aguilera Santana of Secaucus, NJ for two outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,500. Mr. Aguilera was issued two motor vehicle summonses, was able to post bail for the involved warrants and was released from police custody.
On Aug. 30 at 3:12 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the East Orange Police Department to take into custody a 36-year-old male, Kenneth McNeil of East Orange, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000. Mr. McNeil was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Aug. 30 at 8:11 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 27-year-old male, Bryan Uchoffen of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department with no bail along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $50. Secaucus did release Mr. Uchoffen on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Uchoffen was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department.
On Aug. 31 at 11:36 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to Hudson Regional Hospital on a report of a patient assaulting a nurse. During the investigation, the police arrested a 28-year-old male, Joesu Sepulveda-Reyes of Clifton, NJ for Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(5)(J)]. Mr. Sepulveda-Reyes was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ in the amount of $2,000. Clifton did release Mr. Sepulveda-Reyes on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Sepulveda-Reyes was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On Sept. 1 at 12:36 a.m., the police observed an individual in the area of 1301 Paterson Plank whom the police had prior knowledge of having an outstanding warrant out for his arrest. During the investigation, the police arrested a 39-year-old male, Michael Pascale of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of the NJ State Parole Board with no bail. Mr. Pascale was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Pascale was issued his complaint summons and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Sept. 2 at 3:35 a.m., the police observed a motor vehicle traveling in the area of 249 Rt. 3 East. The vehicle was observed to be driving erratically and a motor vehicle stop was conducted. During the investigation, the police arrested a 39-year-old male, Oscar Alvarezcontreras of Union City, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50] and Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(1)]. Mr. Alvarezcontreras was issued his complaint summons, his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated and an additional 7 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
