Secaucus Police Blotter, Aug. 7 - Aug. 13

A man was charged with burglary at the Secaucus Krauszer's on Aug. 3:

SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all the arrests for that time period:

On Aug. 8 at 11:00 a.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to a burglary that occurred at Krauszer's located at 40 Meadowlands Parkway on Aug. 3, the police arrested a 52-year-old male, Damian Robinson of Paterson, NJ for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)], Conspiracy to commit Burglary [2C:5-2A(1)] and Theft [2C:20-3A]. Mr. Robinson was taken into custody in South Hackensack, NJ. Mr. Robinson was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Aug. 10 at 10:41 a.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to a theft of a bicycle that occurred on Aug. 1 in the area of 1351 Paterson Plank Road, police arrested a 40-year-old male, George Ayyoub of Secaucus, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A]. Mr. Ayyoub was taken into custody at Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road. Mr. Ayyoub was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Aug. 10 at 7:20 p.m., Secaucus Police observed a motor vehicle crash that occurred on Rt. 3 West. During the investigation, the police arrested a 61-year-old male, James Brady of Waldwick, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Brady was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with 2 additional motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On Aug. 12 at 4:10 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of 300 Rt. 3 East on a report of a motor vehicle crash. Police arrested a 41-year-old male, Mark Forbes of Clifton, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50] and 4 counts of Assault by Auto [2C:12-1C(2)]. Police say he hit another car, and the occupants inside the car were injured, hence the four charges of assault by auto. Mr. Forbes was issued his complaint summons along with this motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated and an additional 2 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
