SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus police, all of last week's arrests:

On Dec. 16 at 8:01 a.m., Secaucus police responded to the area of 210 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a disabled motor vehicle. During the investigation, the police arrested a 32-year-old male of Jersey City for one outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $3,000 with a 10% option, along with five outstanding warrants issued out of Newark in the amount of $900. The police also arrested a 33-year-old female of Jersey City for one outstanding warrant issued out of Woodbridge in the amount of $739. She was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued one motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody. Newark police released the man on his own recognizance for the involved warrants. He was able to post bail for the warrant issued out of Jersey City and he was released from police custody.

On Dec. 16 at 1:06 p.m., Secaucus police responded to Kohl’s located at 3 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 56-year-old male, Alvin Carr of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Mr. Carr was also found to have one outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $125.00. The Newark Police Department did release Mr. Carr on his own recognizance. Mr. Carr was issued his complaint summons and he was released from police custody.

On Dec. 17 at 7:39 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 37-year-old female, Sellacca Craig of Jersey City for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana Hash Oil [2C:35-10A(4)], two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2] and Possession of a Chemical Defense Spray greater than ¾ Ounces [2C:39-6I(1)]. Ms. Craig was issued her complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On Dec. 17 at 5:27 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the area of 300 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a suspicious female. During the investigation, the police arrested a 42-year-old female, Michelle Douglas of East Rutherford for one outstanding warrant issued out of Elmwood Park, NJ in the amount of $1,000, one outstanding warrant issued out of Nutley, NJ in the amount of $1,000 and one outstanding warrant issued out of East Rutherford, NJ in the amount of $100. Ms. Douglas was also charged with Possession of a Toxic Chemical for the purpose of Inhalation [2C:35-10.4B(1)], Hindering Apprehension for Providing False Information [2C:29-3B] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Ms. Douglas was served her complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Dec. 18 at 11:20 a.m., Secaucus police responded to the Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. During the investigation, the police arrested a 24-year-old male, Jayman Sloane of Bowie, Maryland for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Sloane was issued his complaint summons along with one motor vehicle summons and he was released from police custody.

On Dec. 18 at 1:34 p.m., Secaucus police observed two suspicious individuals standing in the lane of traffic in the area of County Avenue and Centre Avenue. During the investigation, the police arrested a 40-year-old male, Julio Pineda of West New York, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50], Being under the Influence of a CDS [2C:35-10B], Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. The police also arrested a 26-year-old female, Cilia Lecea of West New York, NJ for Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A], Possession of CDS believed to be PCP [2C:35-10A(1)], Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)] and Refusal to get Fingerprinted [53:1-15]. Mr. Pineda was issued his complaint warrant, along with his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated and four additional motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. Ms. Lecea was served her complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Dec. 18 at 2:40 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the Burlington Coat Factory located at 275 Hartz Way on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 57-year-old male, Charles Gore of Newark, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Conspiracy [2C:5-2A(1)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2] and Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A]. The police also arrested a 45-year-old male, Rick Hazelwood of Jersey City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy [2C:5-2A(1)]. Both Mr. Gore and Mr. Hazelwood were served their complaint warrants and were transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Dec. 19 at 6:40 p.m., Secaucus police responded to 7 Myrtle Avenue on a report of suspicious activity. During the investigation, the police arrested a 43-year-old male of Union City, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Union City in the amount of $250 and one outstanding warrant issued out of Weehawken in the amount of $90. Both the Union City Police Department and the Weehawken Police Department released him on his own recognizance and he was subsequently released from police custody.

On Dec. 19 at 7:12 p.m., Secaucus police responded to Kohl’s located at 3 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 23-year-old male, Johaziel Castillo of Secaucus along with a 23-year-old female, Arlet Collazo-Hernandez of Miami, FL for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy [2C:5-2A(1)]. Both parties were served their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On Dec. 19 at 11:07 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the Middlesex County Jail to take into custody a 59-year-old male of Roselle, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $300 and one outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $150. He was not able to post bail for the involved warrants and he was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Dec. 20 at 11:45 a.m., Secaucus police responded to the La Quinta Hotel located at 350 Lighting Way on a report of a group of individuals acting disorderly in the lobby area. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30-year-old female of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding warrant out of Jersey City with no bail. She was subsequently transported to the Jersey City Police Department where custody was transferred to the Jersey City Police.

On Dec. 21 at 1:23 a.m., Secaucus police responded to Rt. 3 East on a report of a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 35-year-old male of Fords, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with one additional motor vehicle summons and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On Dec. 21 at 2:09 a.m., officers from the Weehawken Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 44-year-old male of Belleville, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of West New York, NJ in the amount of $79.00 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for the involved warrants and was released from police custody.

On Dec. 21 at 8:13 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 24-year-old male of Jersey City, NJ for two outstanding warrants issued out of Jersey City in the amount of $200. He was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued three motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On Dec. 21 at 9:50 a.m., Secaucus police responded to the area of 101 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 28-year-old male of Ridgefield, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Weehawken, NJ in the amount of $145. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On Dec. 21 at 5:50 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the area of 700 Plaza Drive on a report of a dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 25-year-old female, Janessa Suro of Jersey City for Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(7)] and Possession of a Weapon [Mace] for Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D]. Ms. Suro was also found to have the following outstanding warrants; 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $3,500.00 with a 10% option, 2 additional outstanding warrants issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $200.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $200.00 with a 10% option, 1 additional outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Bayonne, NJ in the amount of $3,000.00 with a 10% option. Ms. Suro was issued her complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
