SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by the Secaucus police and unedited by Patch, here are all the arrests in town Dec. 18 - Dec. 25, 2017:

On December 19 at 3:05 p.m. Secaucus police responded to a call of shoplifting at TJ Maxx. Upon arrival, the actor had fled. With a description, police searched in the direction where actor had fled. Actor evaded police during a foot pursuit, but was later found running toward West Side Avenue. A 24-year-old male, Jonathan Gomez of Union City was arrested, and charged with Shoplifting [2C:20-11B], Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] and Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(2)]. Mr. Gomez had 2 outstanding warrants in the amount of $950.00 from Union City and Weehawken. Mr. Gomez was processed and transported to Hudson County Jail.

On December 19th at 8:27 p.m., Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old male, William Schutte of Secaucus on 4 outstanding warrants totaling $3600 from Secaucus and Hudson County Sheriff’s Office, as well as a NCIC no bail warrant from Hudson County Sheriff’s Office. Mr. Schutte was transported to Hudson County Jail.

On December 20th at 11:29 a.m. during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 28yo female Crystal Chaveco from North Bergen was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $408.00 from Hoboken. Hoboken PD issued R.O.R. Ms. Chaveco was issued 5 MV summonses (Obstructed View, Suspended License, Suspended Registration, Expired Registration, and Failure to Produce Valid Insurance Card) and then released.

On December 20 at 1:23 p.m. during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 32yo male, Julio Velazquez of Union City was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $89.00 and Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Velazquez posted bail, issued a summons along with 2 MV summonses (Improper Display, Operating MV while in Possession of CDS) then released without incident.

On December 21 at 4:03 a.m. during a Motor Vehicle stop a 37yo male, Shareef Robinson of Jersey City was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $500.00 from Newark. Newark PD issued an R.O.R., Mr. Robinson was issued 2 MV summonses (Tinted Windows, Suspended License) and then released.

On December 21 at 7:24 p.m. during a Motor Vehicle stop a 25yo female, Emily Castro from West New York arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $1000 from West New York, and 26yo male Nelson Lazo-Amaya from West New York was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $99.00 from Union City. Both parties posted bail and released, Ms. Castro was issued 1 MV summons (Obstruction of Windshield).

On December 21 at 9:22 a.m. during a Motor Vehicle stop a 20yo male, Alexander Brzezinski of Weehawken was arrested for 2 counts of Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], 2 counts of Possession of Prescription Legend Drugs [2C:35-10.5E(2)], Possession with the Intent to Distribute of Marijuana [2C:35-5B(12)], Endangering the Welfare of Minor [2C:24-4A], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-3]. A 15yo juvenile from North Bergen was also arrested for Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D], Weapons Offense (stun gun) [2C:39-3H], Possession of Marijuana/Hash Oil [2C:35-10A(4)], [2C:35-10(1)] Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2], Hindering Arrest [2C:29-3A(4). Juvenile processed and released to parent. Mr. Brzezinski was processed and transported to Hudson County Jail.

On December 21 at 10:49 a.m. Secaucus School Resource Officer arrested a 14-year-old at Secaucus High School for Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession with the Intent to Distribute on School Property [2C:35-7], Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana [2C:35-5b(12)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. The juvenile was processed and released to parent.

On December 21 at 11:33 p.m. Secaucus Police were dispatched to Kohl’s Dept. Store on a call of an attempt to use Counterfeit Currency. 4 individuals fled the scene where Secaucus Police and were later found attempting to flee on Route 3 West. A 19yo female, Mia Pollidore of Brooklyn, NY was arrested for Counterfeit Currency Conspiracy[2C:5-2], Forgery [2C:21-1A(3)]. A 21yo male, Octavier Rodriguez of Far Rockaway, NY was arrested for Counterfeit Currency Conspiracy [2C:5-2], Forgery[2C:21-1A(3)]. A 24yo female, Alexandria Alonso of Uniondale, NY was arrested for Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Counterfeit Currency Conspiracy [2C:5-2], an outstanding warrant in the amount of $500.00 from Secaucus. A 27yo male, Maxie Ryles of Brooklyn, NY was arrested for Counterfeit Currency Conspiracy [2C:5-2], 2 outstanding warrants in the amount of $206.00 from Newark and South Hackensack. All parties were processed, bail posted for outstanding warrants, issued summonses and released without incident.

On December 22 at 4:16 p.m. Secaucus Police were dispatched to Meadow Lane on a report of an odor of Marijuana. An 18yo male Justin Simerman of Secaucus was arrested for Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2}. Mr. Simerman was issued a summons and then released.

On December 22 at 4:19 p.m., during a Motor Vehicle stop a 32yo male, Gonzalo Quispe-Martinez of Union City was arrested for DWI. Mr. Martinez was issued 5 MV summonses ( DWI, Maintenance of Lamps, Unsafe Lane Change, Reckless Driving, Consumption of Alcoholic Beverage in Vehicle) and released to a responsible adult.

On December 22 at 8:18 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to Kohl’s Dept. Store on a call of Shoplifting. A 36yo male, Hector Ortiz of Newark was arrested for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B], Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(2)], and Obstructing Justice [2C:29-1A] after a brief foot pursuit. Mr. Ortiz was processed and transported to Hudson County Jail.

On December 24 at 1:38 a.m. during a Motor Vehicle stop a 28yo female Genesis Herrera-Amador of Jersey City was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $100.00 from Elmwood Park. Ms. Herrera-Amador posted bail, was issued 2 MV summonses (Improper Lighting and Unlicensed Driver) then released.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
