SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by the Secaucus police, and unedited by Patch, here are all the arrests in town from Dec. 4 - Dec. 10:
On December 4th at 5:52 p.m. during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 19 year old male, Kevin M Jaramillo of Jersey City NJ was arrested for Possession of Marjiuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Jaramillo was also issued 3 motor vehicle summonses (Tinted Windows, Unlicensed Driver and Possession of CDS in a motor vehicle). Mr. Jaramillo was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On December 5th at 7:25 p.m. during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 41 year old female, Katty Silva of Secaucus NJ was arrested for 2 outstanding warrants totaling $331.00 from Jersey City and Union City. Ms. Silva posted bail, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses (Careless Driving and Driving while Suspended) and was released from police custody.

On December 5th at 9:42 p.m. during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 28 year old male, Francisco A. Mosquea-Capellan of Jersey City NJ was arrested for Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2], along with 2 outstanding warrants out of Union City totaling $260.00. Mr. Mosquea-Capellan was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses (Tinted Windows and Possession of CDS in a motor vehicle) and was transported to Union City Police Department.
On December 6 at 8:16 a.m. Secaucus Police were dispatched to UPS on a report of an employee theft. During the investigation a 26 year old male, Kareem Washington of Jersey City, NJ was arrested for having an outstanding warrant out of Jersey City in the amount of $795.00. Mr. Washington could not post bail and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Dec. 6 at 10:11 p.m. Secaucus Police were dispatched to the Essex County Jail to take custody of a 21 year old male, Jahad M. Turnage of Newark NJ on an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Turnage was unable to post bail and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Dec. 6 at 6:52 p.m. during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 28 year old male, Nicklaus J. Yamakaitis of Edison NJ was arrested for Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Yamakaitis was also issued 1 motor vehicle summons for Failure to Signal and was released from police custody.
On Dec. 7 at 05:31 p.m. Secaucus Police were dispatched to TJ Maxx on a report of a shoplifting incident. During the investigation a 45 year old male, Matthew L. Israel of Parsippany NJ was taken into custody for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B]. Mr. Israel was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Dec. 8 at 3:25 a.m. during an investigation of a suspicious/illegally parked vehicle on Plaza Drive, a 29 year old male, Eric L. Gonzalez of Jersey City NJ was arrested for Possession of Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon (Stiletto Knife) [2C:39-3E]. Mr. Gonzalez was subsequently transported to the Hudson County jail.
On Dec. 8 at 11:16 a.m. during an investigation of a suspicious vehicle, a 26 year old male, Suquan M. Pelt of Lancaster PA was arrested for Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:, Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10], 1 outstanding NCIC warrant out of NY and 2 outstanding warrants out of Montville and Union City totaling $1,350.00. Mr. Pelt was further charged with Obstructing Justice [2C:29-1A] for interfering while in the process of being fingerprinted. Mr. Pelt was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Dec. 8 at 2:30 p.m. a 20 year old male, Isiah Clark of Jersey City NJ was transported to the Secaucus Police Department by the Jersey City Police Department for having an outstanding no bail warrant out of Secaucus. Mr. Clark was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Dec. 8 at 07:45 p.m. during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 35 year old female, Safia P. Canady of Jersey City NJ was arrested for having 2 outstanding warrants totaling $800.00 out of North Bergen and Jersey City. Ms. Canady was also issued 2 summonses for Improper Display and Driving with a Suspended Drivers License. Ms. Canady was able to post bail and was released from custody.
On Dec. 8 at 11:16 p.m. during an investigation of a suspicious vehicle, a 25 year old female, Chantel Ferreiras-Medrano of Union City NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $650.00 from Union City. Ms. Ferreiras-Medrano was able to post bail and was released from police custody.
On Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m. Secaucus Police responded to Sam’s Club on a report of a shoplifting incident. During the investigation, a 32 year old male, Angel L. Perez of Union City NJ was taken into custody for shoplifting [2C:20-11b]. Mr. Perez was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
