SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:
On Dec. 10 at 3:14 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of Plaza Centre on a report of a man harassing pedestrians for money. Police arrested a 35-year-old male of Passaic, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Hines was subsequently transported to the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office.
On Dec. 11 at 1:08 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 53-year-old male of New York, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $2,000.00 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option. He was also charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D] for possessing metal knuckles along with Possession of Prohibited Weapons [2C:39-3E]. Newark PD did release him on his own recognizance in regards to the 2 warrants issued out of their agency that was valued at $500.00. East Orange PD also released him on his own recognizance in relation to the outstanding warrant. He was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Dec. 12 at 9:43 a.m., Secaucus Police observed a motor vehicle parked in the area of 595 County Avenue where the owner of the vehicle was found to have an outstanding warrant. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37-year-old male of Clifton, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ with no bail. He was subsequently transported to the Clifton Police Department.
On Dec. 12 at 11:59 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old male of Fairview, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $750.00. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

On Dec. 13 at 5:02 p.m., Secaucus Police observed an individual exposing his genitals and urinating in public within the parking lot of 400 Park Plaza Drive. Police arrested a 33-year-old male of the Bronx, NY for Lewdness [2C:14-4A]. He was also issued 1 special complaint summons for Urinating in Public [T.O. 106-1]. He was issued his complaint summons along the Tow Ordinance Violation and he was released from police custody.
On Dec. 13 at 3:57 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Union County Jail to take into custody a 26-year-old female of Irvington, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000. She was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
On Dec. 13 at 10:59 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart for a report of a verbal altercation with threats being made where one of the female’s involved brandished a knife. Police arrested a 57-year-old female of Jersey City, NJ for Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3A], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D], specifically a folding knife, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D] and Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A]. She was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On Dec. 15 at 8:22 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Edison Park Fast located at 675 New County Road on a report of a male who had damaged the windshield of a parked motor vehicle. During the investigation, the police arrested a 38-year-old male of Ephrata, PA for Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D], specifically rocks and a piece of wood, and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D]. He was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Dec. 15 at 3:23 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot for a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 61-year-old male of West New York, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $750.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Mount Olive, NJ in the amount of $250.00. North Bergen along with the Mount Olive did release him on his own recognizance pending future court dates. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant out of Secaucus, NJ and he was released from police custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
