Secaucus Police Blotter, Feb. 10 - Feb. 17
Two 14-year-old boys were charged with driving a stolen car through Secaucus. And a man was charged with entering a car in Harmon Cove:

SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus police, all of last week's arrests in town:
On Feb. 10 at 4:26 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested two 14-year-old males of Jersey City for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A] for being in possession of a stolen motor vehicle. One of the males was additionally served with five motor vehicle summonses. Both were served their delinquency complaints and were released into the custody of a responsible guardian.
On Feb. 10 at 5:48 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the area of Park Plaza Drive and Plaza Drive on a report of a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 23-year-old male of North Bergen for one outstanding warrant issued out of Guttenberg in the amount of $500 and one outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken in the amount of $74. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Guttenberg Police Department. Unknown what warrant was for.

On Feb. 11 at 3:34 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the area of 2 Emerson Lane on a report of a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 27-year-old male of Irvington for one outstanding warrant issued out of Orange in the amount of $83. He was able to post bail for the involved warrants and was released from police custody.
On Feb. 11 at 9:52 p.m., Secaucus police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of two individuals attempting to purchase merchandise with fraudulent currency. During the investigation, the police arrested a 27-year-old male, Patrick Grona of Manalapan, NJ for Forgery [2C:21-1A(3)], Conspiracy to Commit Forgery [2C:5-2A(1)], Possession of a Hypodermic Needle [2C:36-6A] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Grona was also found to have one outstanding warrant issued out of Hamilton Township, NJ in the amount of $550. Police also arrested a 26-year-old female, Charlesha Vereen of Trenton for Forgery [2C:21-1A(3)] and Conspiracy to Commit Forgery [2C:5-2A(1)]. Both Mr. Grona and Ms. Vereen were served their complaint warrants and were subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Feb. 11 at 7:57 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the Essex County Jail to take into custody a 23-year-old male of Trenton for three outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $800 along with two outstanding warrants issued out of Trenton in the amount of $300. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. Unknown what warrants were for.
On Feb. 12 at 8:39 a.m., Secaucus police responded to the Middlesex County Jail to take into custody a 20-year-old male, Christian Reyes-Gonzales of Fords for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $500. The warrant was issued for the charges consisting of Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)] and Theft [2C:20-3A] stemming from an incident that occurred on Feb. 6, 2019. That incident last February was a car he broke into on Sanderling Court in Harmon Cove, said Secaucus police. Police say he stole several cell phones, a gift card and a Bluetooth headset, with a total value of $425.
Mr. Reyes-Gonzales was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Feb. 13 at 3:34 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 50-year-old male of Jersey City for one outstanding warrant issued out of Old Bridge in the amount of $1,000 with a 10 percent option. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued three motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On Feb. 15 at 1:49 p.m., a 44-year-old male of Secaucus entered Secaucus Police Headquarters to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant issued out of Elizabeth, NJ in the amount of $255. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
On Feb. 15 at 5:11 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 59-year-old male, Anthony Barker of Jersey City for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Defiant Trespass [2C:18-3B]. Mr. Barker was also found to have one outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $250. Mr. Barker was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
