SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus police and unedited by Patch, all of last week's incidents and arrests:
On 02/11/2019 at 12:50 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Route 3 West on a report of a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, the driver of the motor vehicle, a 45 year old male, Antonio Llughca of Union City, NJ was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Llughca was further issued a motor vehicle summons for Reckless Driving [39:4-96] and was subsequently released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On 02/11/2019 at 8:32 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 8th Street on a report of a suspicious person. During the investigation, the police arrested a 48 year old male, Joseph Delvicario of Jersey City, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $2,000.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Delvicario was additionally charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Hoboken Police Department did release Mr. Delvicario on his own recognizance. Mr. Delvicario was served his complaint summons and was released from custody.

On 02/11/2019 at 4:16 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 33 year old male, Juan Gomez-Frias of Jersey City, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $7,500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $200.00. Jersey City Police Department did release Mr. Gomez-Frias on his own recognizance. Mr. Gomez-Frias was able to post bail for the warrant issued out of Newark, NJ. Mr. Gomez-Frias was issued 4 motor vehicle summonses and was released from custody.
On 02/13/2019 at 9:32 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 5th Street on a report of a possible incident involving animal cruelty. During the investigation, the police arrested a 40 year old male, Carlos Hernandez-Gomez of Secaucus, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Weehawken, NJ in the amount of $600.00. Mr. Hernandez-Gomez was able to post the reduced bail amount and was subsequently released from custody. The animal cruelty complaint was unfounded.

On 02/14/2019 at 7:34 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 41 year old female, Jessica Long of Cinnaminson, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Ms. Long was also found to have an outstanding warrant out of Moorestown, NJ in the amount of $502.00. Ms. Long was able to post bail for the involved warrant. Ms. Long was served her complaint summons and was subsequently released from custody.
On 02/15/2019 at 4:03 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Paterson Plank Road and Plaza Center Road on a report of a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, the driver of the motor vehicle, a 53 year old male, Scott Kappmeier of Garfield, NJ was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Kappmeier was additionally served a motor vehicle summons for Reckless Driving [39:4-96]. Mr. Kappmeier was served both motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On 02/15/2019 at 3:38 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Morris County Correctional Facility to take custody of a 24 year old male, Frank Gentile of Dumont, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $5,000.00. Mr. Gentile was found to have the following additional warrants; 1 warrant issued out of Fairlawn, NJ in the amount of $3,103.00, 1 warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00, 1 warrant issued out of Oradell, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00, 1 warrant issued out of River Edge, NJ in the amount of $500.00, 1 warrant issued out of South Hackensack, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 warrant issued out of Paterson, NJ in the amount of $250.00. Mr. Gentile was unable to post bail and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 02/16/2019 at 7:22 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 39 year old male, Jean Velazquez of West New York, NJ for an NCIC warrant issued by the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Velazquez was issued 5 motor vehicle summonses and Officer’s from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transport Mr. Velazquez to their authority.
On 02/16/2019 at 10:11 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28 year old female, Brittany Golda of Belleville, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant out of Toms River, NJ in the amount of $350.00 and 1 outstanding warrant out of Seaside Heights, NJ with no bail. Ms. Golda was additionally issued 4 motor vehicle summonses. Officer’s from the Seaside Heights Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to take custody of Ms. Golda for transportation to their agency.
On 02/16/2019 at 1:03 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 30 year old female, Sanisha Wali-Uddin of Jersey City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Ms. Wali-Uddin was served her complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from custody.
On 02/17/2019 at 7:41 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24 year old male, Julian Torres of Jersey City, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of West Orange, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Torres was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was served 2 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently released from custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
