On Feb. 17 at 4:32 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 57-year-old male, Antonio Maldonado, of Secaucus for one outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. He was also found to have one outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen in the amount of $1,000. He was issued one motor vehicle summons. Officers from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Secaucus Police Department and took custody of him for transport back to their agency. Unknown what the warrants were for.
On Feb. 18 at 4:07 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 35-year-old male, Jesse Montufar, of Union City for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $500 with a 10% option, one outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen in the amount of $500 and one outstanding warrant issued out of Elizabeth in the amount of $250 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for the warrants issued out of Secaucus and Elizabeth, but was unable to post bail for the warrant issued out of North Bergen. He was issued five motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the North Bergen Police Department. Unknown what the warrants were for.

On Feb. 18 at 6:27 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 44-year-old male, Ibrihim Bangura, of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Newark in the amount of $125. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued five motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On Feb. 20 at 7:34 a.m., Secaucus Police observed a suspicious person in the area of 1 Meadowlands Parkway. During the investigation, the police arrested a 31-year-old male, Jesus Ndong Mele of Secaucus for Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1] after running from the police during the course of the investigation. Mr. Ndong Mele was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Feb. 20 at 1:47 p.m., in furtherance of an investigation being conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in regards to an assault that occurred at 84 Henry Street on Feb. 6, the police arrested a 44-year-old male, Frank Perez of West New York for Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(1)], Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D] and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D]. Mr. Perez was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Feb. 20 at 11:25 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report that an alleged actor from a previous robbery incident that occurred at that Walmart on Jan. 3 was at that location. During the investigation, the police arrested a 25-year-old female, Kiana Miller of Paterson, NJ for Robbery [2C:15-1A(1)], Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(7)] and Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D] stemming from the incident that occurred on Jan. 3. Ms. Miller was further charged with Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] for an incident that occurred on Feb. 20. Ms. Miller was served her complaint warrant and her complaint summons and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Feb. 21 at 4:24 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the UPS located at 493 County Ave. on a report of a male using a fraudulent ID. During the investigation, the police arrested a 23-year-old male, Jesus Valera-Pereyra of Newark, NJ for Criminal Attempt of Theft by Deception [2C:5-1A(1)], Possession of Fraudulent Documents [2C:21-2.1D] and Identity Theft [2C:21-17A(1)]. Mr. Valera-Pereyra was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Feb. 22 at 2:59 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of Wayback Burger located at 83 Plaza Centre on a report of a suspicious vehicle that reportedly struck a curb. During the investigation, the police arrested a 42-year-old female, Latoya Pope of Newark for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Ms. Pope was issued four additional motor vehicle summonses to go along with the charge of Driving While Intoxicated and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On Feb. 23 at 3:57 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Kohl’s located at 3 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 42-year-old male, Rashid Khan of Secaucus, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Mr. Khan was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On Feb. 23 at 11:05 p.m., officers from the Union City Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 67-year-old male, Jorge Diaz of North Bergen, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $250. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
