SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by the Secaucus police and unedited by Patch, all of last week's arrests and incidents in town:
On Jan. 14 at 9:11 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 34-year-old male, Omar Arroyo of North Arlington, NJ for an NCIC warrant out of the Lehigh County Sheriff’s Office in Allentown, PA with no bail. Mr. Arroyo was additionally charged with being a fugitive from justice. Mr. Arroyo was served his complaint warrant, issued one motor vehicle summons and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Jan. 15 at 12:20 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 54-year-old male, Martin Johnson out of Bayonne for one outstanding warrant out of Galloway, NJ in the amount of $750. Mr. Galloway was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from custody.

On Jan. 15 at 1:36 p.m., Secaucus police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, a 31-year-old male, Alisher Shamsiev of Brooklyn was arrested for shoplifting and possession of an anti-shoplifting device. Mr. Shamsiev was served his complaint summons and was released from custody.
On Jan. 15 at 2:42 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the Morris County Correctional Facility to take custody of a 32-year-old male, Nicholas Koroly of Wharton, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus in the amount of $500. Mr. Koroly was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Jan. 15 at 4:52 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 34-year-old male, Adrian Ajodha of Jersey City for an outstanding warrant out of Woodbridge in the amount of $2,500.00. Mr. Ajodha was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued two motor vehicle summonses and was released from custody.
On Jan. 15 at 6:14 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the La Quinta hotel located at 350 Lighting Way on a report of suspicious males on the property. During the investigation, the police arrested a 42-year-old male, Leonard Barnette of Monticello, NY for one outstanding warrant out of Hillside, NJ in the amount of $1,000 and one outstanding warrant out of Holmdel, NJ in the amount of $500. Both the Hillside police and the Holmdel police released Mr. Barnette on his own recognizance and he was subsequently released from custody.
On Jan. 16 at 4:25 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 68-year-old male, Luis Berrios of Elizabeth for an NCIC warrant issued out of New York State with no bail. Mr. Berrios was also found to have two outstanding warrants out of Hoboken in the amount of $500 and one outstanding warrant out of Jersey City in the amount of $500. Mr. Berrios was further charged with being a fugitive from justice. Mr. Berrios was served his complaint warrant, issued six motor vehicle summonses and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Jan. 16 at 2:30 p.m., in furtherance of an investigation being conducted by the Secaucus Police Detective Division regarding a motor vehicle theft that occurred on Jan. 3 at 675 New County Rd, Secaucus Police arrested a 22-year-old male, Aaron Lockwood of Linden, and charged him with burglary, theft and conspiracy to commit burglary. Mr. Lockwood was also found to have seven outstanding warrants out of Somerset in the amount of $1,550, six outstanding warrants out of Elizabeth in the amount of $1,500, three outstanding warrants out of Roselle, NJ in the amount of $1,100 and one outstanding warrant out of Newark in the amount of $250. Mr. Lockwood was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Jan. 19 at 11:25 a.m., Secaucus police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Royal Motel that displayed stolen license plates. During the investigation, the police arrested a 43-year-old male, Brian Bezi of New York, NY and charged him with receiving stolen property, possession of CDS believed to be crystal methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Bezi was also found to have one outstanding warrant out of Clifton, NJ in the amount of $2,500 and one outstanding warrant out of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ in the amount of $850. A 26- year-old male, Vasko Dimitrov of Union City was also arrested for possession of CDS believed to be crystal methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Dimitrov was served his complaint summons and was released from custody. Mr. Bezi was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Jan. 20 at 11:20 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 23-year-old male, Tyshaun Hall of Jersey City for possession of a weapon, receiving stolen property and possession of CDS believed to be marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Hall was served his complaint summons and was released from custody.
