SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by the Secaucus police, here are all the arrests for the past week in town:
On January 15 at 9:33 a.m. during a motor vehicle stop, a 39-year-old male, Charlie Strickland of East Rutherford was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $124 from Weehawken. Bail was posted for Mr. Strickland he was issued 2 MV summonses, (Driving without Driver’s License, Failure to Possess Driver’s License) then released.
On January 16 at 9:05 a.m. during a motor vehicle stop a 27-year-old female, Madelin Morales was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $204 from Bloomfield. Bloomfield PD issued R.O.R., Ms. Morales was issued 2 MV summonses (Driving After DL Suspended, Failure to Possess DL) then released.

On January 16 at 11:45 am during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 36-year-old male, Adam Quinones of Secaucus was arrested for Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Quinones was issued 2 MV summonses (Seatbelt, Operation of Vehicle While in Possession of CDS) and released without incident.
On January 16 at 7:43 pm during a Motor Vehicle stop a 23-year-old male, Jhoniel Telleria-Blanco of Elizabeth was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $150.00 from Fort Lee. Fort Lee PD issued R.O.R., Mr. Telleria-Blanco was issued 2 MV summonses (Obstruction of Windshield, Driving While Suspended) then released.

On January 17 at 8:35 pm Secaucus police were dispatched to Bergen County Jail to take custody of a 30-year-old female, Samantha Connelly of Jersey City for an outstanding warrant from Secaucus. In total Ms. Connelly had 4 outstanding warrants in the amount of $2,583.00 from Secaucus, Weehawken, Guttenberg and Jersey City. Ms. Connelly was transported to Hudson County Jail where custody was turned over without incident.
On January 17 at 9:14 a.m. during a motor vehicle stop, a 38-year-old male, Christopher Elias of Saddle Brook was arrested for 2 outstanding warrants in the amount of $343.00 from Saddle Brook and Hasbrouck Heights. Mr. Elias posted bail, was issued a MV summons (Driving with a Suspended License) and released.
On January 17 at 9:35 p.m. Secaucus police responded to a motor vehicle crash on Paterson Plank Rd. A 32yo male, John Prem of Secaucus was arrested for DWI. Mr. Prem was issued 2 MV summonses (DWI, Reckless Driving) then was released to a responsible family member.
On January 18 at 1:20 a.m. Secaucus police were dispatched to Walmart on a call of shoplifting. A 20-year-old female, Krupa Shah of Jersey City was arrested for Shoplifting, Hindering Apprehension. In addition, Ms. Shah had 2 outstanding warrants in the amount of $300 from Hoboken. Ms. Shah was issued a summons posted bail and was released.
On January 18 at 8:31 a.m. during a motor vehicle stop, a 38-year-old male, Mitchell Sanchez of Fairview was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $500 from Elizabeth. Mr. Sanchez posted bail was issued a MV summons (Driving with Suspended License) and released.
On January 18 at 12:00 pm Secaucus police were dispatched to Essex County Jail to take custody of a 41-year-old male, Kashif Barnes of Newark for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $1000 from Secaucus. Bail could not be posted, and Mr. Barnes was transported to Hudson County Jail.
On January 18 at 4:20 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to Essex County Jail to take custody of a 24yo female, Stephanie Tene of Newark for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $1000.00 from Secaucus. Bail could not be posted, and Ms. Tene was transported to Hudson County Jail.
On January 18 at 11:14 pm, while on Patrol, Secaucus Police arrested a 21yo male, Enrique Blaschke of Rutherford for Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Blaschke was issued his summons and released without incident.
On January 19 at 8:34 am during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 31yo female, Jenny Garcia of Union City was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $100.00 from Union City. Ms. Garcia posted bail and was released.
On January 19 at 12:32 pm during a Motor Vehicle stop a 32yo female Crystal Vargas of North Bergen was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $200.00 from Guttenberg. Ms. Vargas posted bail, was issued 2 MV summonses, (Improper Display, Driving with Suspended License) and released.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
