SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus police and unedited by Patch, all of the arrests and incidents in town last week:
On Jan. 21 at 8:50 a.m., a 29-year-old male, James Lockhart of the Bronx, NY entered police headquarters to turn himself in for an outstanding warrant out of Keansburg, NJ in the amount of $1,500. Mr. Lockhart was unable to post bail for the involved warrant. Officers from the Keansburg police department arrived at police headquarters and took custody of Mr. Lockhart and transported him back to their authority.
On Jan. 23 at 2:56 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the Jersey City police department to take custody of a 29-year-old female, Latrice Funches of Jersey City for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus in the amount of $200. Ms. Funches was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from custody.

On Jan. 23 at 11:27 p.m., officers from the Bergen County Sheriff’s office responded to Secaucus police headquarters to transfer custody of a 30-year-old female, Janeth Moya-Rios of North Bergen for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus in the amount of $200. Ms. Moya-Rios was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from custody.
On Jan. 24 at 9:05 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, the police arrested a 31-year-old male, Adrian Moreira-Herdoiza of North Bergen for possession of CDS believed to be marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a prescription legend drug. Mr. Moreira-Herdoiza was also issued four motor vehicle summonses. Mr. Moreira-Herdoiza was served his complaint summons and was released from custody.

On Jan. 24 at 8:51 a.m., a 17-year-old juvenile male from Secaucus was arrested at Secaucus High School for making a terroristic threat and possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to distribute. The juvenile was released to the custody of his parent. (Patch asked Secaucus police for more details on this, but they said this is the only information they are releasing.)
On Jan. 25 at 7:14 p.m., a 54-year-old male, Michael Samuels of Hawthorne, NJ entered Secaucus police headquarters to turn himself in for two separate burglary incidents that occurred at US PAC located at 131 Seaview Drive. Mr. Samuels was charged with burglary, theft, criminal trespass and conspiracy for the incident that occurred on Jan. 13 and was further charged with burglary, theft and criminal trespass and conspiracy for the incident that occurred on Jan. 20. Mr. Samuels was served complaint warrants for both incidents and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Jan. 27 at 12:18 a.m., officers from the Elizabeth police department responded to Secaucus police headquarters to transfer custody of a 43-year-old male, Alexis Mencias of Elizabeth for one outstanding warrant out of Secaucus in the amount of $500. Mr. Mencias was also found to have one outstanding warrant out of North Bergen in the amount of $100. Mr. Mencias was able to post bail for both warrants and was released from custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
