SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:
On Jan. 23 at 8:25 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Middlesex County Correctional Center to take into custody a 42-year-old male, Titus Dancy of Union, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $750. Mr. Dancy was released on his own recognizance by the Secaucus Municipal Court pending a future court date and he was released from police custody.
On Jan. 23 at 4:24 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Best Buy on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 35-year-old male, Bernard Roberson of Trenton, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A], Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(2)], Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(2)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A]. Mr. Roberson was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Jan. 24 at 1:34 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to UPS located at 493 County Avenue on a report of an employee theft. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30-year-old male, Kelvin Moore of Jersey City, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A]. Mr. Moore was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Jan. 24 at 7:59 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28-year-old female, Betina Polo of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Parsippany, NJ in the amount of $1,000. Parsippany did release Ms. Polo on her own recognizance pending a future court date. Ms. Polo was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and she was released from police custody.

On Jan. 24 at 12:09 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 36-year-old male, Jeffrey Hernandez of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Totowa, NJ for $1,000. The outstanding warrant was amended by the Totowa Municipal Court from $1,000 to $750. Mr. Hernandez was able to post bail for the amended warrant, was issued one motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.
On Jan. 27 at 9:25 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of 279 Secaucus Road on a report of a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, the police arrested a 52-year-old male, Roberto Acosta Gomez of Miami, FL for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Acosta was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with four additional motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
