SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus police, all of last week's arrests:
On Jan. 6 at 7:42 p.m., Secaucus police conducted a motor vehicle stop of a bicyclist who was not displaying a front head lamp. During the investigation, the police arrested a 24-year-old male of Secaucus for one outstanding warrant issued out of Toms River in the amount of $1,000. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued one motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody. Unknown what warrant was for.
On Jan. 7 at 3:24 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 20-year-old male of Jersey City and a 20-year-old male of Jersey City for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], a disorderly persons offense. Both were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On Jan. 9 at 11:45 a.m., during a follow-up investigation conducted by the Secaucus police detective division for a burglary and theft incident that occurred on 12/13/2019 at Rent the Runway located at 100 Metro Way, Secaucus police arrested a 39-year-old female, Tanisha Molina of Jersey City, NJ and charged her with Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)] and Theft [2C:20-3A]. Ms. Molina was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On Jan. 9 at 4:07 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 46-year-old male of Newark for one outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Essex County with no bail. He was also issued two motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Essex County Jail. Unknown what warrant was for.

On Jan. 9 at 5:26 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29-year-old male of Teaneck for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. He was issued his complaint summons along with two motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On Jan. 9 at 10:45 p.m., during a follow-up investigation being conducted by the Secaucus Police Detective Division for an identity theft incident that occurred on 11/20/2019, Secaucus police arrested a 19-year-old male, Johan Matos of Passaic and charged him with Forgery [2C:21-1A(2)], Theft of Identity [2C:21-17A(1)], Theft by Deception [2C:20-4] and Trafficking in Personal Identifying Information of Another [2C:21-17.3A]. Matos was also found to have three outstanding warrants issued out of Passaic in the amount of $2,100. He was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Jan. 9 at 11:59 p.m., officers from the Hillside Police Department responded to the Secaucus Police Department to transfer custody of a 37-year-old male of Hillside for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $100. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. Unknown what warrant was for.
On Jan. 11 at 9:56 a.m., Secaucus police responded to the Essex County Jail to take into custody a 35-year-old male of Newark for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $100. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody. Unknown what warrant was for.
On Jan. 11 at 10:58 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 68-year-old male of Kearny for one outstanding warrant issued out of Union City in the amount of $250. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued one motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.
On Jan. 11 at 6:58 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the area of American Way and Enterprise Avenue on a report of a dispute involving an assault. During the investigation, the police arrested a 26-year-old male, Jarrett Reese of Jersey City for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $300 and two outstanding warrants issued out of Jersey City in the amount of $350. Reese was additionally charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(1)]. He was served his complaint warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
