On January 9 at 8:24 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to Union Township to take custody of a 29yo female, Iman Barnes of Orange for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $200.00 from Secaucus. Ms. Barnes posted bail and was released without incident.

On January 10 at 6:34 pm during a Motor Vehicle stop a 27yo male, Pedro Rodriguez-Silvest of Bayonne was arrested for Driving with a Suspended License. Mr. Rodriguez-Silvest was issued two motor vehicle summonses, then released.

On January 10 at 8:16 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to Clifton PD to take custody of a 26yo female, Latoya Cross of Paterson on an outstanding warrant in the amount of $2,500.00 from Secaucus. Ms. Cross was transported to Hudson County Jail.

On January 9 at 2:30 pm, during an ongoing investigation of Fraud, 5 individuals were arrested. A 36yo female Cynthia Grullon of Paterson, 28yo female, Simone Wallace of Jersey City, 39yo female, Cathedra Smart of Jersey City, 49 yo Cynthia Geralds of Teaneck and a 29 yo male, Steven Aquino of Teaneck. The loss-prevention officer at the Jimmy Jazz discovered unauthorized commission through Ebates. Each employee would process online orders enter the order through their own Ebates account to receive the rebate. 4 were charged with Theft by Deception [2C:20-4]. 3 were charged with Criminal Attempt [2C:5-1C] 5 were charged with Computer Criminal Activity [2C:20-25C]. 5 were charged with Conspiracy to commit Theft [2C:5-2]. Ms. Wallace had an outstanding warrant in the amount of $198.00 from Union City. Additional arrests may follow.

On January 12th at 12:24 p.m. Secaucus Police arrested a 25yo male, Jonathan Hernandez of Fort Lee on a No Bail warrant from Voorhees. Secaucus Police transported Mr. Hernandez to NJ State Police Barracks in Cranbury where custody was turned over to Voorhees PD.

On January 12th at 6:35 pm Hudson County Sheriff’s officers transported a 33yo male, Jimsly Jacques of Jersey City on an outstanding warrant in the amount of $500.00 from Secaucus. Bail was posted and Mr. Jacques was released without incident.

On January 13th at 10:28 am during a Motor Vehicle Stop a 60yo male, Johnny Mendola of Hoboken was arrest for 2 outstanding warrants in the amount of $1239.00 from Sayreville and Jersey City. Mr. Mendola was issued 3 MV Summonses (Improper Display, Unlicensed Driver, and Driving While Suspended), and custody was turned over to Jersey City PD.

On January 14th at 11:09 am during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 27yo male, Khadim Mbaye of Jersey City was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $183.00 from Weehawken. Mr. Mbaye posted bail, was issued 1 MV summons (Careless Driving), and released.

On January 14th at 3:08 pm Secaucus Police responded to Kohl’s on a call of Shoplifting. A 46yo female, Carmen Vides of Union City was arrested for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B]. Secaucus Police issued Ms. Vides her summons and released.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
