SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:
On July 10 at 8:54 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 51-year-old male, Bradie Ortiz of Passaic, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Bogota, NJ in the amount of $1,000. The Bogota Police Department did release Mr. Ortiz on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from police custody.
On July 11 at 1:43 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 43-year-old male, Quasson Walton of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office with no bail, 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office with no bail and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ in the amount of $500. The Clifton Police Department did release Mr. Walton on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Officers from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Walton for transport back to their authority. Mr. Walton was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently released into the custody of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office.

On July 11 at 6:52 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of County Avenue and UPS Drive on a report of a welfare check on an individual lying down on the island between County Avenue and the NJ Turnpike Entrance. During the investigation, the police arrested a 31-year-old male, Vishal Patel of Clifton, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ in the amount of $1,500. Clifton Police released Mr. Patel on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from police custody.
On July 13 at 5:42 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Toms River Police Department to take into custody a 48-year-old male, Eric Kindangen of Bayville, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $750. Mr. Kindangen was able to post partial bail for the outstanding warrant, was provided a new court date and was released from police custody.

On July 14 at 6:50 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of 101 Paterson Plank Road on a report of an individual panhandling. During the investigation the police arrested a 34-year-old male, Anthony Hines of Passaic, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Montclair, NJ with no bail. Mr. Hines was subsequently transported to the Montclair State University Police Department.
On July 15 at 9:30 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of 650 Plaza Drive on a report of a welfare check for an individual reportedly slumped over the steering wheel of her vehicle. During the investigation, the police arrested a 28-year-old female, Danielle Alessandra of Belleville, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Xanax (2C:35-10A(1), Possession of CDS believed to be Oxycodone (2C:35-10A(1) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (2C:36-2). Ms. Alessandra was also charged with Driving While Intoxicated (39:4-50). Ms. Alessandra was issued a complaint summons, a motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated and an additional 2 motor vehicle summonses and she was released to the custody of a responsible adult.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
