Secaucus Police Blotter, July 22 - July 28

Secaucus police responded to the Royal Motel last Thursday for a follow-up investigation of possible drug dealing going on there.

SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus police, all of last week's arrests and incidents:

On July 22, 2019 at 8:52 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of 700 County Avenue on a report of a male walking in the middle of the roadway in the lane of traffic. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37-year-old male of Secaucus, NJ for an NCIC warrant issued out of the Warren County sheriff's office with no bail. He was also found to have three warrants issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $300, one warrant issued out of Hopatcong borough in the amount of $500, one warrant issued out of Kearny, NJ in the amount of $500, one warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $350 and one warrant issued out of Clifton in the amount of $100. He was further charged with Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. He was issued his complaint warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On July 24 at 8:47 p.m., Secaucus police responded to UPS located at 493 County Ave. on a report of a dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30-year-old male of Newark, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Paramus in the amount of $1,208. Paramus police released him on his own recognizance and he was subsequently released from police custody pending a future court date.

On July 24 at 11:58 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the Candlewood Suites located at 279 County Avenue on a report of a criminal mischief incident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 32-year-old male of Millville, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. He was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On July 25 at 10:52 a.m., officers from the NJ State Police responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 42-year-old male of the Bronx for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently released from police custody.

On July 25 at 1:42 p.m., the Secaucus Police Detective Division responded to the Royal Motel located at 650 Rt. 3 West during a follow-up investigation of possible drug distribution occurring. During the investigation, the police arrested a 23-year-old female of Secaucus, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Elizabeth, NJ in the amount of $1,500, one outstanding warrant issued out of Tinton Falls, NJ in the amount of $1,000 and one outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $2,500 with a 10% option. She was further charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Suboxone [2C:35-10.5E(1)]. She was served her complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On July 25 at 3:03 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Bergen County Jail to take into custody a 34-year-old female of Paterson, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500. She was able to post bail for the involved warrant and she was subsequently released from police custody.

On July 28 at 1:11 a.m. Secaucus police responded to the area of Meadowlands Parkway and Harmon Plaza on a report of a male sleeping behind the wheel of a vehicle in the lane of traffic. During the investigation, the police arrested a 40-year-old male, of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued a motor vehicle summons for the Driving While Intoxicated charge along with three additional motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently released into the custody of Hudson Regional Hospital.
