Secaucus Police Blotter, July 3 - July 9
A Secaucus man was arrested for setting off illegal fireworks on July 4 at XChange, and other arrests:
SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, here are all of last week's arrests:
At 9:25 p.m. on July 4, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 36-year-old male, Josue Barreto of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Barret was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office.
At 10:04 p.m. on July 4, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Riverside Station Boulevard on a report of fireworks being set off. During the investigation, the police arrested a 44-year-old male, Jason Anderson of Secaucus, NJ for Disorderly Conduct [2C:33-2A(1)], Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(1)], Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A] and Possession of Prohibited Fireworks [21:3-2]. Mr. Anderson was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of South Bound Brook, NJ in the amount of $750.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $100.00. The Secaucus Police Department and the North Bergen Police Department did release Mr. Anderson on his own recognizance pending future court dates. Mr. Anderson was issued his complaint summons. Mr. Anderson was unable to post bail for the outstanding warrant issued by the South Bound Brook Police Department and Officers from that agency responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Anderson for transport back to their authority.

At 8:22 p.m. on July 6, Secaucus Police responded to the Essex County Jail to take into custody a 34-year-old male, Jerome Spates of Carteret, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ with no bail. Mr. Spates was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
At 10:59 p.m. on July 7, Secaucus Police responded to the Clifton Police Department to take into custody a 23-year-old male, Engel Paulinogomez of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $600. Paulinogomez was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

At 7:30 p.m. on July 7, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a customer becoming irate with the Walmart staff and fellow customers. During the investigation, a motor vehicle stop was conducted with the involved female. During this stop, the police arrested a 56 -year-old female, Dawn Grossano of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50] and Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(2)]. Ms. Grossano was issued her motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with her complaint summons. Ms. Grossano was also issued 4 additional motor vehicle summonses and 1 Special Complaint summons for Driving Under the Influence with a minor passenger [39:4-50.15] and she was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
