Secaucus Police Blotter, June 12 - June 18
There was a break-in attempt last Monday, June 12 at a locker at the Secaucus LA Fitness. A Wallington man was charged:

SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:
On June 12 at 12:44 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to LA Fitness located at 485 Harmon Meadow Boulevard on a report of an attempted break-in to a locker. A follow-up investigation was conducted and on June 13 at 1:06 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Wallington, NJ and took into custody a 59-year-old male, Clifford Jocks of Wallington, NJ for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)], Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)] and Criminal Attempt to commit Theft [2C:5-1A(1)]. Mr. Jocks was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On June 13 at 6:01 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 22-year-old male, Jonathan Ferrer of Queens, NY along with a 32-year-old male, Gabriel Munoz of Queens, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy [2C:5-2A(1)]. Both Mr. Ferrer and Mr. Munoz were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On June 14 at 6:45 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to Hudson Regional Hospital located at 55 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a medical incident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 53-year-old male, Norman Millner of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail. Mr. Millner was subsequently transported to the Jersey City Police Department.
On June 14 at 1:35 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 58-year-old male, Russell Hollingsworth of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Officers from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Secaucus Police Department and took custody of Mr. Hollingsworth for transport back to their authority.

On June 14 at 12:51 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Essex County Jail to take into custody a 33-year-old male, Desmond Thomas of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ in the amount of $1,000 along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $750. The Clifton Police Department did release Mr. Thomas on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Thomas was unable to post bail and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On June 14 at 8:55 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26-year-old male, Chris Lawson of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Fairlawn, NJ in the amount of $1,000 with a 10% option. Mr. Lawson was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued three motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On June 14 at 11:12 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police located the involved individual riding a bicycle from the parking lot of 400 Park Plaza Drive. The male refused to stop for police when instructed to do so. The police were able to take into custody a 51-year-old male, Ismael Hernandez of Union City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)],Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A], Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(2)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A] and Possession of CDS believed to be Heroin [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Hernandez was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $700. Mr. Hernandez was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On June 15 at 8:22 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Burlington Coat Factory located at 31 Millcreek Drive on a report of a verbal dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30-year-old female, Tarapaige Malave of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $2,000 with a 10% option. Ms. Malave was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
On June 15 at 10:45 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Union Police Department to take into custody a 47-year-old male, Frank Rodrigues of Kearny, NJ for 3 outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $2,000. Mr. Rodrigues was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
