Secaucus Police Blotter, June 15 - June 21

A man was charged with assaulting another man at a graduation ceremony last week at Secaucus middle/high school.

SECAUCUS, NJ — All the arrests in town last week:

On June 16 at 2:39 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the 300 block of Born Street on a check of an individual. During the investigation, the police arrested a 36-year-old man of Secaucus, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $3,500. He was unable to post bail and was transported to the North Bergen Police Department.

On June 17 at 7:09 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Secaucus High School PAC Center located at 11 Millridge Road on a report of a dispute and assault. During the investigation, the police arrested a 42-year-old man, Ryan Francis of Secaucus, NJ for Simple Assault [2C:12-1A(1)] and Disorderly Conduct [2C:33-2A(1)]. Police say he assaulted another parent who was attending the graduation ceremony; his relationship to the victim is unknown. Francis was issued his complaint summons and released from police custody.

On June 19 at 11:08 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the parking lot of 100 Lighting Way on a report of an individual who was possibly intoxicated in the driver’s seat of a parked motor vehicle. Police arrested a 36-year-old man of Wanaque, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued a motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released into custody of a responsible adult.
