Secaucus Police Blotter, June 24 - June 29
A man was charged on June 24 with trying to distribute cocaine near Buchmuller Park. Two women were also charged with prostitution.

SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus police, all the arrests and incidents in town June 24 - June 29:
On June 24 at 8:33 a.m., Secaucus police observed a vehicle parked on the sidewalk area of 150 Plaza Centre Road (Buchmuller Park). During the investigation, the police arrested a 29-year-old male, Christian Dominguez of West New York, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Dominguez was further charged with Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Cocaine within 500 feet of a Public Park [2C:35-7.1(A)], Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-5B(3)], Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Being Under the Influence of a CDS [2C:35-10B] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Dominguez was served his complaint warrant along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On June 24 at 9:34 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Metuchen Police Department to take custody of a 55-year-old male of Newark, NJ for three outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $800. He was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Trenton, NJ in the amount of $150. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On June 26 at 7:35 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 23-year-old male of Clifton, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. He was served his complaint warrant along with four motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On June 26 at 10:55 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting incident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 46 year old male of Union City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information. He was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On June 26 at 2:11 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the Jersey City Police Department to take custody of a 59 year old male of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000 and one outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $100. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On June 27 at 10:25 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Fairview Police Department to take custody of a 38-year-old male of North Bergen, NJ for one outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000. He was unable to post bail and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On June 27 at 12:36 p.m., Secaucus police responded to 290 County Avenue on a report of a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 29-year-old female of North Bergen, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Lyndhurst, NJ in the amount of $250. She was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
On June 27 in a continuing effort by the Secaucus Police Department to reduce vice crimes in the town of Secaucus, the Secaucus Detective Division arrested a 25-year-old female of San Juan, Puerto Rico along with a 26-year-old female of Union City, NJ in separate incidents for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)]. They were served their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.
On June 27 at 11:27 p.m., Secaucus police responded to 101 Plaza Centre Road on a report of a dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 49 year old male of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Rockaway, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. The Rockaway Police Department released him on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was subsequently released from police custody.
On June 28 at 7:51 p.m., the State Police turned over custody of a woman, 27 of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $200. She posted bail for the warrant and was released from police custody.
On June 29 at 3:10 a.m., Secaucus police responded to Route 3 West on a report of a motor vehicle crash with injuries. During investigation a Nanuet, NY man, 32, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50] and Reckless Driving [39:4-96].
