
SECAUCUS, NJ — Arrests in town from March 12 - March 18, 2018:
- On March 12th at 10:08 am on a call of a suspicious person, Secaucus Police arrested a 40yo male, of Newark, for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $750.00 from Lakewood. Lakewood PD issued an R.O.R. and he was released without incident.
- On March 12th at 4:34 pm during a Motor Vehicle Stop, a 23yo male from Jersey City was arrested for 2 outstanding warrants in the amount of $200.00 from Jersey City. Jersey City PD issued an R.O.R. He was issued 3 MV summonses (Tinted Windows, Uninsured Vehicle, Failure to Possess a Driver’s License) and released.
- On March 13th at 6:45 pm during a Motor Vehicle stop a 24yo male of of Union City was arrested for Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. He was issued 2 MV summonses (Improper Display, Driving with Suspended License) then released.
- On March 14th at 3:41 pm during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 23yo male of North Bergen was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $500.00 from North Bergen. Bail was posted and he was released without incident.
- On March 15th at 7:48 am Secaucus Police were dispatched to UPS on a call of an employee theft of 3 pair of sneakers valued at $1,160.00. A 41yo male of Jersey City was arrested for Theft [2C:20-3A]. He was processed and released.
- On March 15th at 3:41pm during a Motor Vehicle stop a 20yo male of Secaucus was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $551.00 from Mantua, NJ. He posted bail, was issued a MV summons (Improper Display) then released.
- On March 15th at 5:46 pm while on patrol, Secaucus Police observed a stolen vehicle from Plainview, NJ. A 34yo male of Union City was arrested for Receiving/Possession of Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. He was processed and turned over to the proper authorities. 3 MV summonses were issued (Failure to Inspect, Driving Without License, Failure to Possess DL).
- On March 16th at 12:28 pm, Secaucus Police responded to a call of 2 males fighting in the Sunoco Gas station. A 34yo male of Fairfield was arrested for Simple Assault [2C:12-1A(1)]. He was issued his summons and released without incident.
- On March 18th at 6:26pm during a Motor Vehicle stop a 38yo male of Fairview was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $200.00 from Secaucus. He posted bail, was issued 2 MV summonses (Failure to use Turn Signal, Failure to Possess Driver’s License) and released.
