SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:

On March 2 at 12:45 p.m., Secaucus Police attempted to stop a car for an observed motor vehicle violation. The vehicle failed to stop and eluded the police. During the investigation, on that same date at 4 p.m., police arrested a 21-year-old man of Union City, Dereck Angeles, for Eluding [2C:29-2B]. He was issued a complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and released from police custody.

On March 3 at 3:08 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31-year-old man of Union City, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued a motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 5 motor vehicle summonses and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On March 4 at 8:53 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the NJ State Police Barracks in Holmdel, NJ to take into custody a 28-year-old man of Clifton, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $4,000 with a 10 percent option. He was able to post bail and was released.

On March 4 at 12:14 p.m., Secaucus Police arrested a 25-year old man of Weehawken, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Weehawken, NJ with no bail. In relation to this outstanding warrant, he had 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. He was taken into custody by the Hudson County Sheriff.

On March 4 at 4:07 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of First Street on a report of a man who was yelling. Police arrested a 35-year-old man of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Saddle Brook, NJ in the amount of $750. He was taken into custody by Saddle Brook Police.

On March 4 at 5:49 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31-year-old man of North Bergen, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $500. He was issued two motor vehicle summons and transferred to Union City Police.

On March 4 at 6:08 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 30-year-old man of Ridgefield Park, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Keansburg, NJ in the amount of $750. Keansburg released him on his own recognizance pending a future court date.

On March 5 at 4:09 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Union County Jail to take into custody a 31-year-old man of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $6,000 with a 10% option. He was also found to have two outstanding warrants issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $2,000 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Keansburg, NJ in the amount of $1,000. He was taken to the county jail.

On March 6 at 5:05 p.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to an aggravated assault incident that occurred on Feb. 27 on New County Road, the police arrested a 39-year-old man, Pedro Lamotte of Newark, NJ for Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(1)], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D] and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D]. He was taken to the county jail.

On March 8 at 6:00 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Episcopal Church of our Savior located at 191 Flanagan Way on a report of an unruly individual. During the investigation, the police arrested a 73-year-old man Alfred Viggiano of Secaucus, NJ for Bias Intimidation [2C:16-1A(2)] and Harassment [2C:33-4B].
