SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus police and unedited by Patch, the arrests and incidents in town in the past week:
On March 26 at 3:55 a.m. Secaucus Police responded to a Motor Vehicle Accident at the Sunoco Gas Station on Route 3 East Service Rd. A 24yo female, Christine Hartnett of Jersey City was arrested for DUI. Ms. Hartnett was issued 2 MV summonses (Reckless Driving, DUI). She was released to a responsible adult.
On March 26 at 8:30 a.m. Secaucus Police were dispatched to Roselle Park PD to take custody of a 25yo male, Dorian Lowery of Newark for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $200 from Secaucus. Additional warrants were found totaling $5,550 from Newark and East Orange. Newark PD requested custody of Mr. Lowery, and he was transported without incident.

On March 27 at 9:36 a.m. during a Motor Vehicle Stop a 29yo male, Darren Goodman-McDougald of Jersey City was arrested for 3 outstanding warrants totaling $300 from Jersey City. Mr. Goodman-McDougald posted bail, was issued 3 MV summonses, (Driving While Suspended, Driving Without License, No Vehicle Insurance) then released.
On March 28 at 4:41 p.m. during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 31yo male, David Sparber of Bronx, NY was arrested for 2 outstanding warrants totaling $1,500 from Fort Lee. Mr. Sparber posted bail, was issued 4 MV summonses (Maintenance of Lamps, Fictitious Plates, Unregistered Vehicle, No Vehicle Insurance) then released.

On March 29 at 4:19 p.m. Secaucus Police were dispatched to TJ Maxx on a call of shoplifting, where the accused shoved the-loss prevention officer and fled the store. During a search of the area, Secaucus police found and arrested the 28yo male, Jose Azcona-Cruz of Dover for Robbery [2C:15-1A(1)], and Shoplifting [2C:20-11B]. Mr. Azcona-Cruz was processed and transported to Hudson County Jail.
On April 1 at 4:38 p.m. during a Motor Vehicle Stop, a 30yo male, Jamelle Tucker of Brooklyn, NY was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $450.00 from Jersey City. Mr. Tucker was issued 2 MV summonses (Failure to Signal Turn, DL/Registration Suspended) then transported to Jersey City PD where custody was relinquished.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
