Here's info. about an arrest people witnessed last week near the Secaucus Outback Steakhouse:
SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:
On May 18 at 5:22 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Department of Public Works located at 350 Secaucus Road on a report of an individual who was seen going over the property fence and entering the property. Police arrested a 39-year-old woman, Alexandra Hallahan for Burglary [2C:18-2A(3)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3A(7)]. Hallahan was issued her complaint warrant and transferred to the Hudson County Jail. Secaucus Police say she has no relation to the town of Secaucus; she is not a current or former town employee.
On May 18 at 10:10 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 41-year-old man of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Guttenberg, NJ in the amount of $550. He was able to post bail for the warrant, was issued two motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On May 18 at 12:47 p.m., Secaucus Police observed an individual in the area of 595 County Avenue who was reported to be involved in several assault incidents on the same date. During the investigation, the police arrested a 38-year-old man, Matthew Rivera of Secaucus, NJ for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D], specifically a knife. He was taken to the Hudson County Jail.
On May 18 at 4:35 p.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to an incident of eluding that occurred on May 13, detectives went to Jersey City and arrested a 29-year-old man, Jonathan Diaz of the Bronx, NY for Eluding [2C:29-2B] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police. Diaz was also found to have 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Newark, NJ with no bail. He was issued a complaint warrant and taken to the county jail.

On May 20 at 3:00 p.m., an officer with the Secaucus Police Department was approached by an individual requesting a transport to the Secaucus Junction train station. The individual, identified as a 45-year-old man, was found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Howell, NJ in the amount of $1,000 along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Nutley, NJ in the amount of $1,000 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $100. An additional warrant was issued by the United States District Court for Supervised Release Violation with no bail. Howell Police took custody of the man.
On May 20 at 6:55 p.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective division in relation to a burglary into a motor vehicle that occurred at 485 Harmon Meadow Boulevard on 11/16/2025, the police responded to the Port Authority Police Department in Fort Lee, NJ and took custody of a 24-year-old man, Traishaun Whitchett of New York, NY for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)], Conspiracy to commit Burglary [2C:5-2A(1)], Theft of Identity [2C:21-17A(4)] and Unlawful Use of a Credit Card [2C:21-6C(1)]. Traishaun was also found to have 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. He was taken to the Hudson County jail.
On May 21 at 12:37 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop in the area of the Secaucus Outback Steakhouse, Secaucus Police arrested a 21-year-old man, Christopher Sanchez of West New York, NJ for Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-5B(11)], Money Laundering [2C:21-25A] and Possession with intent to Distribute Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-3]. Police said they found several pounds of marijuana in his car during a motor vehicle stop. Sanchez was issued his complaint summons along with three motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On May 23 at 11:33 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28-year-old man of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [2C:39:4-50]. Medina was issued four motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On May 24 at 9:55 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Marlboro Police Department to take into custody a 43-year-old man of Rahway, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $2,500 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Roselle, NJ in the amount of $1,000. He was unable to post bail for either warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
