SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus police, all of last week's arrests:
On Oct. 12 at 11:56 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the intersection of Park Plaza Drive and Harmon Meadow Boulevard on a report of a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 57-year-old male, Darnell Gadsden of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $150. Gadsden was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
On Oct. 13 at 12:33 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 21-year-old male, Jose Morales of Union City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Morales was served his complaint summons, was issued one motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

On Oct. 13 at 4:18 p.m., in furtherance of an investigation being conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in regards to a theft that occurred at Walmart on May 14, the police arrested a 57-year-old female, Elizabeth Lopez of North Bergen, NJ for Theft of Property Lost/Mislaid [2C:20-6] after Lopez entered Secaucus Police Headquarters surrendered herself. Lopez was served her complaint summons and was subsequently released from police custody.
On Oct. 13 at 6:22 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 48-year-old male, Dany Silva of Union City, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Weehawken, NJ in the amount of $250. Silva was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On Oct. 15 at 3:07 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to Riverside Station Boulevard (Xchange) on a report of an assault. During the investigation, the police arrested a 31-year-old female, Sharneen Jemmot of Brooklyn, NY for one outstanding warrant issued out of Westampton, NJ in the amount of $750. Jemmot was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
On Oct. 15 at 8:15 a.m., Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of Walmart. During the investigation, the police arrested a 51-year-old male, Steven Ridley of East Orange, NJ for one outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Officers from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Ridley for transport back to their agency.
