SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus police and unedited by Patch:
On Oct. 29 at 6:15 p.m., a 50-year-old female, Marisol Bermudez of Union City, NJ entered headquarters in order to be processed in regards to a prior incident. Ms. Bermudez was arrested and processed for the charges of robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery and was subsequently released from custody.
On Oct. 30 at 12:46 p.m., while on patrol the police observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of Millcreek Point. During the investigation, a 20-year-old male, Josue Lozano of Union City, NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Weehawken, NJ in the amount of $600. Mr. Lozano posted bail and was released from custody.

On Oct. 30 at 3:20 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Bloomfield Police Department to take custody of a 22-year-old male, Abu Chowdhury of Belleville, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $300. Mr. Chowdhury was able to post bail and was released from custody.
On Oct. 31 at 1:28 p.m., the Union City Police Department transported a 57-year-old male, Jose Rodriguez of Union City, NJ to Secaucus Police headquarters for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $3,000. Mr. Rodriguez was unable to post bail and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Oct. 31 at 4:16 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of Paterson Plank Rd and Huber St on a report of a male who was possibly exposing himself. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37-year-old male, Oscar De Los Rios of North Bergen, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $75. Mr. De Los Rios was released on his own recognizance by the Hoboken Police Department and was subsequently released from custody. Note: The man was not exposing himself, Secaucus police clarified to Patch. He was facing a garbage can and was wearing several pairs of baggy pants, one of which had a rope instead of a belt to secure the pants. The incident was reported by a crossing guard. The crossing guard reported that the man was facing away from her and she was uncertain as to whether or not he was exposing himself.
There were some children in the area. Upon further investigation, it was found that the man was adjusting his multiple layers of pants and not exposing himself. He was ultimately arrested for an active warrant out of Hoboken.
On Nov. 1 at 7:13 a.m., Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Sams Club/Walmart. During the investigation, a 26-year-old male, Josue Matos of Guttenberg, NJ was arrested for two outstanding warrants out of Florham Park, NJ for a total bail amount of $500 and one outstanding warrant out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $500. Custody of Mr. Matos was subsequently turned over to the Union City Police Department.
On Nov. 1 at 1:23 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Hopatcong Police Department to take custody of a 39-year-old male, Michelle Ellis of Hopatcong, NJ for one outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $150. Mr. Ellis was found to have one outstanding warrant out of Clifton, NJ in the amount of $2,000 and one outstanding warrant out of Paterson in the amount of $50. Clifton Police Department released Mr. Ellis on his own recognizance. Mr. Ellis was able to post bail on the two outstanding warrants and was released from custody.
On Nov. 1 at 4:09 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, police arrested a 28-year-old female, Jarrena Bethune of Newark, NJ for having an outstanding warrant out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $10,000 with a 10% option and Irvington, NJ in the amount of $250. Ms. Bethune was able to post bail for both warrants and was released from custody.
On Nov. 1 at 4:29 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to 55 Metro Way on a report of a female who was possibly in danger. 55 Metro Way is Rent the Runway. A female employee claimed that a male co-worker reached into the front of his pants and touched himself in front of her in an attempt to harass her. The male denied the allegations; he said that he was adjusting himself and she acknowledged that might have been possible. However, the man, Andre Gamble, 34, of East Orange, NJ was found to be wanted on outstanding warrants and had drugs on him, police said. He was wanted on one outstanding warrant out of Roselle, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00, one outstanding warrant out of Linden, NJ in the amount of $1000.00, two outstanding warrants out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $450.00, one outstanding warrant out of Bloomfield, NJ in the amount of $124.00 and one outstanding warrant out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Gamble was further charged with Possession of CDS believed to be MDMA, Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana, Possession of CDS Paraphernalia and Hindering Apprehension by Providing False Information. Mr. Gamble was served his complaints and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Nov. 3 at 5:32 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to 230 Secaucus Road on a report of a suspicious male on the property. During the investigation, a 37-year-old male, John McIntosh of New York, NY was arrested for Hindering Apprehension, Obstructing the Administration of Law and Defiant Trespass. Mr. McIntosh was also found to have one outstanding warrant out of Milltown, NJ in the amount of $250. Mr. McIntosh posted bail and was released from custody.
On Nov. 4 at 2:44 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, a 34-year-old male, Cesar Chaves of Cutchogue, NY was arrested for shoplifting. Mr. Chaves was also charged with Possession of CDS Paraphernalia. Mr. Chaves was issued his complaint summons and was released from custody.
On Nov. 4 at 9:16 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, a 22-year-old female, Alexandra Toro of North Bergen, NJ was arrested for Shoplifting. Ms. Toro was issued her complaint summons and was released from custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
