SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus police and unedited by Patch, all the arrests and incidents in town last week:
On Sept. 10 at 4:27 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, a 58-year-old male, Heriberto Pagan-Montalvo of Newark, NJ was taken into custody for alleged shoplifting. Pagan-Montalvo was served his summons and was released from custody.
On Sept. 11 at 9:46 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop in the area of 215 County Avenue, Secaucus Police arrested a 61-year-old male, Johnny Mendola of Bayonne, NJ for five outstanding warrants totaling $2,427.00. Two warrants were issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $1,100.00. One warrant was issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00. One warrant was issued out of Keport, NJ in the amount of $627.00 and one warrant was issued out of Hillside, NJ in the amount of $200.00. Mendola posted bail for the Secaucus warrant, was released on his own recognizance by the other involved agencies and was released from custody.

On Sept. 11 at 6:25 p.m., at police headquarters, Secaucus police arrested a 36-year-old male, Shane Clair of Secaucus, NJ for an outstanding warrant issued out of Monroeville, NJ in the amount of $78.00. Clair posted bail and was released from custody.
On Aug. 9 at 11:11 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the Rent the Runway located at 100 Metro Way on an activated hold-up alarm. During the investigation it was revealed that the alarm was activated due to one of the employees being assaulted prior to entering work. On her way to work, associates known to the victim who live near where the victim resides assaulted her near her place of employment in Secaucus. Employees who became aware of the assault contacted police by activating the panic alarm. During a follow-up investigation, a 23-year-old female, Zyeama Johnson of Jersey City, NJ turned herself in for outstanding warrants issued by Secaucus police for the incident. Johnson was charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. Johnson was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. She was charged with robbery because she allegedly stole the victim's belongings.

On Sept. 13 at 7:16 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the Newark Police Department to take custody of a 30- year-old female, Samantha Tene of Newark, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500. Tene could not post bail and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Sept. 14 at 10:24 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 34-year-old male, Gary Cross of Roseland, NJ and charged him with possession of prescription legend drugs believed to be Xanax and Clonazepam and hindering apprehension. Cross was transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Sept. 14 at 4:41 p.m., Secaucus police responded to Home Depot on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, a 58-year-old male, Thomas Campbell of Jersey City, NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Randolph, NJ in the amount of $500. Randolph PD released Campbell on his own recognizance and he was released from police custody.
On Sept. 16 at 12:31 p.m., Secaucus police responded to Riverside Station Blvd to take custody of a 29-year-old male, Shiraz Khan of North Bergen, NJ who had a no-bail warrant issued by the North Bergen Police Department. Upon arrival Khan was taken into custody and North Bergen PD subsequently responded to police headquarters to pick up Khan and transported him to their agency.
On Sept. 15 at 4:38 p.m., Secaucus police responded to Home Depot on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, a 40-year-old male, Juan Murillo of Union City, NJ was taken into custody and charged with shoplifting. Murillo was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Sept. 15 at 9:42 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 32 year-old female, Victoria Trusskey of Warners, NY and charged her with driving while intoxicated. Trusskey was served her summons and was released.
On Sept. 16 at 4:32 a.m., NJ Transit Police transported a 45-year-old female, Zary Picart of Jersey City, NJ for two outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $3,000 and one warrant out of East orange, NJ in the amount of $1000. Picart was unable to post bail and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
