Secaucus Police Blotter, Sept. 17 - Sept. 23
The laundry room of a home on 8th Street was burglarized last Thursday; women's underwear was stolen.

SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus police and unedited by Patch:
On Sept. 18 at 2:15 a.m., while on patrol, Secaucus police observed two suspicious parties outside a residence at 1259 Paterson Plank Road. During the investigation, Secaucus Police arrested the following: A 28-year-old male, John Rusch of Bayonne, NJ for one warrant issued out of Bayonne, NJ in the amount of $7,500 and two warrants out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $3000. Mr. Rusch was further charged with Possession of CDS believed to be crack cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Hypodermic Needle. A 24-year-old female, Zaneta Kozlowska of Bayonne, NJ was arrested and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Hypodermic Needle. Mr. Rusch was transported to the Hudson County Jail and Ms. Kozlowska was issued her summons and was released from custody.
On Sept. 18 at 5:50 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop in the area of Front Street, Secaucus police arrested a 68-year-old male, Byron Cartozian of Port Chester, NY for Possession of CDS believed to be marijuana over 50 grams, Possession of Hash Oil under 5 grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Cartozian was served his complaint summons and was released from custody.

On Sept. 19 at 1:26 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation the police arrested a 58-year-old male, Anthony Barker of Jersey City, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $200. Hoboken PD did release Mr. Barker on his own recognizance and he was released from custody.
On Sept. 19 at 7:51 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of Black Jack Mulligan's on a report of a female not feeling well, due to her intoxicated state. A 53-year-old female, Orquidea Orille-Cuervo of Secaucus, NJ was arrested for two counts of Aggravated Assault on a police officer who was attempting to assist her. Ms. Orille-Cuervo was served her complaint summons and was released from custody.

On Sept. 20 at 5:55 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Longshot Gun Range on a report of a stolen cellphone. During the investigation, a 21-year-old male, Dinesh Rampersaud of Jersey City, NJ was arrested for Theft of Movable Property. Mr. Rampersaud was served his complaint summons and was released from custody.
On Sept. 20 at 8:30 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to 8th Street on a report of burglary into the laundry room of a residence. Following an investigation by the Secaucus Police Detective Bureau, on Sept. 21 the Secaucus Police arrested a 47-year-old male, Carl Jobson of Secaucus and charged him with Burglary and Theft. Jobson, a neighbor, is accused of stealing women's underwear. Jobson was served his complaint summons and was released from custody.
On Sept. 21 at 7:48 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Kohl’s on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, Secaucus Police arrested a 27-year-old male, Efraim Diaz of Jersey City, NJ for shoplifting and conspiracy to commit shoplifting. Mr. Diaz was also found to have an outstanding warrant out of Mount Olive, NJ in the amount of $500 and two warrants out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $600 as well as an outstanding NCIC warrant out of Pennsylvania. Mr. Diaz was further charged with being a Fugitive from Justice and was charged with Receiving Stolen Property in relation to a separate incident involving a stolen motor vehicle that was stolen out of Hoboken and recovered in the Secaucus CVS parking lot on Sept. 23. Mr. Diaz was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. Police also arrested a 32-year-old female, Angelica Garcia of Newark, NJ for Shoplifting, Theft of Property Lost/Mislaid and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting. Ms. Garcia was served her complaint summons and was released from custody.
On Sept. 23 at 11:25 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old female, Daisy Hooks of Newark, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $100. Newark PD did released Ms. Hooks on her own recognizance and she was released from police custody.
