Secaucus Police Issue Shelter In Place For Riverside Court

As of 3 p.m., the shelter in place has now been lifted and Secaucus Police referred all questions to the FBI.

SECAUCUS, NJ — Secaucus Police issued a shelter in place lockdown for the area of Riverside Court Thursday afternoon, but are now saying the shelter in place has been lifted.

Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller referred all questions about what happened to the FBI.

On Thursday afternoon, Secaucus Police sent the following: Attention all residents surrounding Riverside Drive, Osprey Court, Mallard Place and Blue Heron Drive: A SHELTER IN PLACE has been made for this area due to police activity. Please remain in your homes or refrain from responding to this area. Updates to follow.
