Secaucus Police Officer Shows Cub Scouts Inside Police Car

They were supposed to tour police headquarters, but there were too many people being arrested and booked.

SECAUCUS, NJ — The Secaucus Police Dept. graciously allowed to let Cub Scout Pack #87 tour police headquarters on Thursday afternoon.

But the tour had to be canceled at the last minute because there were too many people being arrested and booked at police headquarters.

The boys showed up outside police headquarters, nearly all in full uniform, very excited for the tour, and they were very disappointed. Everyone was going to head home, when Patrolman Chris Rinaldi said the day was not lost — he would show the boys all the police vehicles in the parking lot and answer any questions they had about being a law enforcement officer.

Cub Scouts got to turn on the lights and sirens, and use the loudspeaker.

Thank you for your kindness, Officer Rinaldi!
