State Police Revive Woman On Turnpike In Secaucus: Video

State Police used CPR on a woman who had driven off the New Jersey Turnpike in Secaucus last month, and wasn't breathing. Watch the video:

SECAUCUS, NJ — State Police used CPR on a woman who had driven off the New Jersey Turnpike in Secaucus last month, and wasn't breathing.

At 9:30 p.m. on Monday, May 21 the 56-year-old woman had veered off the Turnpike on the eastern spur at milepost 113.5. When State Troopers got there, they found she was limp over the steering wheel, had no pulse and was not breathing. They pulled her out of the car and laid her on the ground, where they began CPR and chest compressions.

After several minutes of CPR, the woman regained a pulse and started to breathe. Secaucus paramedics and local first responders arrived and continued to provide first aid. The woman was taken to Hudson County Medical Center and later released.
